Character's Description:
At The Dawn of Time, before the shape of things settled in a solid space time continuum, primordial forces clashed for the ultimate domination.
All of the representing different aspects of Nature, the forces of Creation and Destruction engaged in an endless battle; the outcome is the universe as we know it now.
Eventually during this Aeons-long struggle, they manifested into outr dimensional plane in a concrete form. Many different demons spawned this way, among them was Berith the supreme incarnation of Slaughter and Blasphemy:

Berith is a two faced horned Demon: the front, being humanoid in appearance, is apt for speaking to Mortals; on the rear an animal snout sprouts, is it incessantly blabbers of blasphemies and obscure, hidden secrets able to drive the holiest of spirits to the deepest and foulest insanity.
